Oliver Stirling Motorsport
Oliver Stirling started his racing career in a Lola T642E in the Monoposto and Formula Ford Kent series, gaining several class wins. Since then he's been a regular front runner with Team JDR in Sports 2000 and holder of the prestigious Lola Cup. 2008 has been his first full season and he has proven his pace by winning 4 out of 4 races, with 3 new lap records and his first Championship in a Tiga SC80. In 2007 Oliver tested and raced LMP3 sports prototypes such as the Ligier JS49 and the Juno SSE. He successfully raced the Juno in the first two UK rounds of the famous V de V UK endurance series and is eager to progress his sports car credentials into higher formula.
Having worked at the Three Sisters race circuit in Lancashire as an ARDS race instructor and Corporate Events Manager. Oliver has instructed at Donington, Snetterton, Rockingham and is currently looking to join the team of instructors at Oulton Park where he holds the current Sports 2000 lap record. A successful and respected race driver whether it be single seater, saloon or sportscars, Oliver has been affectionately named the 'TIG' by his long term sponsor Barry Davison (from Davison-Highley) and hopes to earn full 'STIG' status by winning him more trophies in years to come!

Silverstone Victory | April 2009
The 09 season got off to a good start with Oliver winning the Pinto Championship's first race outright, at a very wet Silverstone. Qualifying was held in a downpour which saw one or two casualties. By race time in the afternoon the rain had stopped, but the track was still wet.
