Oliver Stirling started his racing career in a Lola T642E in the Monoposto and Formula Ford Kent series, gaining several class wins. Since then he’s been a regular front runner with Team JDR in Sports 2000 and winner of two championships.
Oliver has raced and tested many marques, including LMP3 sports prototypes such as the Ligier JS49 and Juno SSE, as well as Ferrari, Porsche, Elise, Elige, Caterham JPE and BMW M3 E30.
An ARDS race instructor, Oliver has instructed throughout the UK , his favourite circuit being Oulton Park where he holds the Sports 2000 lap record. He is a popular and respected instructor and race driver whether it be single seater, saloon or sportscars. Oliver will be racing Lotus Elites and Lotus Elan this season. Having
a class win on
his first outing in Nick Atkins’ Elite at Silverstone with Nick partnering, he is out again at Silverstone Classic partnering Barry Davison in his Elite, before contesting the 2hr at Spa in the Elan
in September, again with Nick, in his Lotus Elan.
